Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe, who was elected the sixth Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese under the Church of Uganda has been consecrated this morning (March 12, 2023).
The consecration and enthronement is presided over by His Grace the Archbishop of Uganda, the Most Rt Rev Kaziimba Mugalu.
Present at the function are; vice president Jessica Alupo and husband, first deputy prime minister Rebecca Kadaga, ministers Jim Muhwezi and wife Susan, Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, David Bahati, Henry Musaasizi, Sarah Matekye and Members of Parliament, chancellor Makerere University, Prof. Ezra Suruma and the vice chancellor Barnabas Nawangwe, Gen. Mugisha Muntu of ANT party among others
